How To Install The EasySnap Mounting Kit for Thule Cargo Boxes

Question:

So whats the sequence of attachments? Btw, I have a 2020 Subaru Outback and I am mounting a Thule Frontier. The U-Bolt and the rubber protectors which fits on the U-bolt of course go under the cross-bar. But the 4 Rubber gaskets...do they go under the housing INSIDE the box? Or do the Rubber gaskets fit on top of the bar? ie. OUTSIDE the box and which sit under the box itself? If the latter then shouldnt there be another rubber gasket inside the box? to create a better connection and allow some give in the movement of the vehicle? And those 4 Plastic strips for covering optional mounting holes?...what are those for when you also send me the 15 round black stickers? Its kinda funny not to have any explanations.

You have the U-Bolts which have a rubber pad on them. That rubber pad will go underneath your crossbar and the two threaded ends will go through your cargo box holes. The stickers go on the holes that you're not using on the cargo box. The plastic strips will go on the inside of the cargo box underneath the top half of the mounting hardware. Watch the video I've inlcuded to get an idea of what components come with the EasySnap Mount # TH05820 and it shows where each component goes.
