Availability of Replacement U-Bolt for Thule Cascade XT

Question:
I have the Thule Cascade XT cargo box and one of the U-bolts is stripped out. Is there any ways to order the U-bolt or one that will fit the same? Is there an alternative that will secure it as good or better than the Easy Snap mounts? I know the part number for the U-bolt is 43216.

Hey Colton! That 43216 U-bolt was discontinued by Thule. The only option we have for a replacement bolt/hardware is the complete mounting kit. The Replacement EasySnap Mounting Kit for Thule Cargo Boxes # TH05820 replaces the mounting hardware for the Thule Cascade XT 676, 677, and 678.
Other mounting hardware might work if you modified the box, but it won't be any easier to use than the EasySnap. You can try reaching out to Thule to see if they have the bolt, but I doubt they will with it discontinued.
