Can I Use the Surco Folding Basket Adapter # 52015 with a Carpod cargo carrier model M2200 which has a fixed shank and which will be mounted onto a Curt model 13130 Class III trailer hitch on a 2013 Acura RDX?

While Surco does claim that their Folding Basket Adapter for 2" Trailer Hitch Mounted Cargo Carriers # 52015 will work with any manufacturers 2" basket rack we have not yet tested to see if it works with the 23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier # M2200 you mention.

We have had this question asked in the past and the manufacturer has expressed concerns on ground clearance. The further the carrier sits off the RV the greater chance of their being clearance issues.

We have found that the best cargo carrier that works with the Surco Folding Basket Adapter # 52015, is the 20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18150. This cargo carrier has a maximum carrying capacity of 500-lbs, and measures 59-1/8" long and 20-13/16" wide.

Both of these cargo carriers have a fixed shank that will fit into a 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver, like the one on your 2013 Acura RDX.
