Question:
I must be missing something. What if the difference between to M2205 and the M2200 Trailer Folding hitch packer? I intend to add this to the back of my 27 foot Terry RV Travel trailer. I am a senior citizen and a full time campier. My home is my RV. It will replace my car-top carrier.

We do carry the 23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, part # M2205, and it has some great features. This cargo carrier has walls that fold flat and the entire carrier will fold up when not being used. The outside dimensions are 48-3/4 inches long x 24 inches wide x 22 inches tall, and it fits in a 2 inch receiver opening. This carrier weighs 54 lbs and it also features a shank with a 5 inch rise to provide a bit more ground clearance. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier is 13 inches.
The other cargo carrier that is very similar is part # M2200. The major difference between these two is that the # M2200 has a straight shank with no rise, and it has a much shorter shank that can at times be an issue with rear clearance on the back bumper of the RV. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier is 4 inches. This cargo carrier can use the same cargo bag and lid mentioned above.
For added security I recommend the lockable lid for the carrier, part # M2201.
We also carry a weather-resistant polyester cargo bag that works with the carrier. This will protect your cargo from the elements and has 2 large zippers on the top of the bag to allow you access to your cargo. The part number for this cargo bag is # M2202. I have attached links to some product review videos about these items you can check out.
You want to do is make sure you have the weight carrying capacity on your hitch and also on your 27 foot RV.
