Question:
I have a 2000 Jayco eagle 12LSO pop up camper. I need a new coupler since the Atwood one is no longer available. Which would be a good replacement for it? I also need new drum brakes. Which ones would be good for my trailer? Thank you.

The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs item # DM72VR would be a great replacement for the Atwood coupler that is currently on your 2000 Jayco Eagle Camper. You will want to use free backing brakes with this actuator because this surge brake actuator does not have a reverse lockout. I recommend the Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - 10" - Left/Right Hand - 3,500 lbs item # AKFBBRK-35. These free-backing, driver's-side and passenger's-side drum brakes won't engage when you reverse. The automotive-grade friction pads and e-coated backing plates are long-lasting. These brakes are 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide, have a 4 bolt mounting flange bolt pattern, and fit wheel sizes 14" and 15". You will want to confirm that this is the correct size brakes for your Jayco Eagle.
