Parts Needed to Install 7-Way on 2018 Toyota Highlander
Published 02/14/2022 >
Question:
Hello, I am looking at your product:Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector Item # 22119 The description indicates it is meant to replace an existing 7-blade trailer connector. I am driving a 2018 Toyota Highlander that did not have any trailer connection installed. I currently have a flat-4 connected to a factory plug in that rear that was capped. I just need to know if this product will install properly in my vehicle with the existing wiring.

To install a 7-way wiring kit on your 2018 Toyota Highlander the # 22119 that you referenced is the correct part number. This plugs in to the wiring your 4-way already plugs into.
I attached an install video for this on a similar 2018 Highlander for you to check out as well.
