What is the difference between the Curt and Blue Ox base plates for my 2022 F-150? They look similar. Will they both work with the same tow bars?

Yes, the Curt # C48JR and Blue Ox # BLU33FR base plate kits that fit your 2022 Ford F-150 are essentially the same thing, just branded differently. They are both compatible with the same tow bars and have the same functions.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components I recommend the following:
