Expert Reply:
If your 2007 Nissan Frontier did not come with a factory trailer connector then you would use # C56225. This harness comes with the relays needed to activate the wiring. However, on some Nissan vehicles there is an additional relay needed in the in-cab fuse panel to make everything fully functional. This relay, if needed, can be obtained from a Nissan dealer.
The Curt harness # C55441 is for Frontiers that came with the tow package which is why it is not fully functional on yours. You are either missing one of the 3 relays, # C57000, or the one in the in-cab fuse panel.
