Question:
I have a 2006 Keystone Montana 3400RL 5th. wheel trailer. I want to replace the brake assemblies, but not sure which to order. I know I have 6,000# axles. Also, I have the axle build sheet see attached, and Im seeing numbers like 023-326-00 and 023-327-00 for the brakes not 23-105-106 or 23-180-181. Might your 23-105-106 be the replacement for the Dexter number 023-326-00? I have seen mention of white wire magnetinch versus black wire magnet, inch is that something that is relevant to answering my question? Also, if I decide to replace the brake drums and bearings, which ones are compatible with the proper brakes? I presently have 1/2inch x 20 wheel studs and 2.25inch grease seals not 2.125. Thanx in advance for your assistance!

I have the correct brakes you need. From researching the part numbers you put into your question for your 2006 Keystone Montana 3400RL, it looks like many may be obsolete part numbers. With that being said, since you know that you have 6k axles, you need 12" x 2" brakes. For this setup, I recommend the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 6K # 23-458-459. Since these brakes are Nev-R-Adjust, you do not have to worry about manually adjusting the brakes with normal wear.
As far as the colors of the wiring on the brake magnets, different manufacturers use different color wires. However, the wires on all brakes will achieve the same outcome/functionality.
For the correct hubs/drums for your axles, it depends on if you have standard axles or EZ lube axles. If you have standard axles with 2.25 inch grease seals, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 # AKHD-655-6-K. If you have EZ lube axles with a 2.25 inch grease seal, the part you need is the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K & 6K Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K.
