I have factory side rails now and need to know what cross bars I will need for a Malone cargo 12 item #mpg 901 Im getting ready to purchase from etrailer

I recommend installing the Inno Aero roof rack system on your 2019 Mazda CX-5 flush rail roof so you can transport a cargo box:

45" and 48" Inno Aero Crossbars - # INXB115-123
Through Feet - # INXS350
Fit Kit - # IN53FR

I really like this system because it is cost-effective and looks sleek, plus you won't be sacrificing quality as this rack comes with a nice aero-dynamic design and actually includes locks for the feet.

The Malone Cargo12 # MPG901 is a solid choice for a roof cargo box but we will need to look at something different because this fits a crossbar spread of 25" to 27" but the fixed points on your CX-5 rails make it so that any roof rack you install will have a crossbar spread of 32".

For your application I recommend the Malone Cargo16 # MPG902 instead, which fits a crossbar spread of 24" to 40". Attached is a review video for you to check out.
