Will the DeeZee Nerf Bars # DZ3700301 Fit a 1995 Ford F-150 Regular Cab?

Question:

I would prefer that these bars stick outboard far enough and low enough below the rocker panels so that I can plant enough of my foot on the bar to climb in the cab…thanks for your time.

Since the DeeZee Universal Nerf Bars - 3" Round - 32" Long - Black # DZ3700301 are a universal fit, they will technically fit your 1995 Ford F-150 regular cab. However, the installation process will require a lot of time and drilling. You will be able to fit the bars onto the vehicle in order to have them protrude in a way that suits you.

If you want to save a lot of time with a simpler installation, I recommend the Aries Round Nerf Bars - 3" Diameter - Black Powder Coated Steel # AA203001. Unlike the DeeZee universal nerf bars, the Aries nerf bars come with customized brackets to fit your 1995 Ford F-150 regular cab. With these brackets, there is no drilling/cutting required for installation because they use the bolt holes already in your frame. As far as fitment, I went ahead and provided a review video to show you how much surface footing area you will have on your truck. Even though the truck in the video is not the same model as your F-150, the way it installs will be practically the same.

If you are looking for a much larger surface area for footing, I recommend the DeeZee Brite-Tread Running Boards - 6" Wide - Aluminum Tread Plate # DZ2017. Since the surface area on these running boards are 6 inches wide, you will have much more footing space than the 3-inch wide round nerf bars. The Brite-Treads also has the advantage of diamond-plate patterns for extra grip. I went ahead and attached a photo to this answer to provide you some perspective of how they install. The Brite-Treads come with all mounting hardware and do not require drilling.
