Is there a certain way to measure to assure new lock will fit?

Yes, the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option # 295-000019 you linked to requires a cutout opening of 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall. You'll need to remove your current entry door lock and measure the height and width of the hole to ensure a fit. If your cutout hole differs from this size and you need help finding one that fits then just let me know the dimensions of your cutout.

Need entry door lock. Size of cutout is 2 3/4 wide x 4 3/4 tall cant seem to find one that fits that opening Thank you John h

@JohnH That sizing is pretty common for a Trimark lock. The Bauer and Global Link options we currently offer are about an inch off size-wise so I would reach out to them for a replacement.
