You can power the winch off of a battery on your trailer that is connected to the 7-way on your Ram 3500. The 12v wire on the 7-way will keep your battery charged. If you end up running the winch off of one of your truck batteries I recommend adding an isolator like the Battery Isolation Solenoid item # PK5231201. This will keep your winch from draining your Ram's battery when the truck isn't running.
To power your winch I recommend the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit - Quick Connect to Terminal End - 2 Gauge - 24' Long item # BDW20207.
