Furrion FWH09A Water Heater No Power To Controller For Temperature Control

Question:

I have 12v DC running into the water heater and have verified the power with a voltage meter. I am not getting any power out to the control for the digital screen for temperature control. Because of this, the hot water heater will not function at all. I was wondering if maybe its a bad circuit board. Thank You!!

I spoke with Furrion about your # FR93FR water heater, and they have told me that the reason this would occur is because either you hooked up the unit to the incorrect power source, or you have reverse polarity. This would cause the control board to short, which as it was explained to me, is unrepairable.

Your option would then be , a complete replacement of your unit.
