Comparing Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carriers 810001 and 810XT

Question:
Hi there, Can you help me understand the difference between these two part numbers? I understand that TH810001 replaced 810XT, but cannot find much documentation on the change. Was it just a minor revision?

The Thule SUP Taxi XT Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier part # TH810001 indeed replaced the TH810XT. The changes were very minor, the main one aside from aesthetics is the longer strap (53" vs. 74"). They also changed the way the strap is secured into the opposite end of the carrier to make things a bit easier. They both have the same speed-link mounting system and one-key locks.
