Question:

Hello I have the Thule Aeroblade on my 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. I am working on mounting several offroad/overland/camping tools to the cross bars. The first is a Hi-Lift jack which I accomplished with a bracket specifically made for just that. Now I am having trouble mounting the following: Axe, Shovel, Recovery Boards Maxtrax. I am wondering if these bolts XADAPT8 would do the trick in the t-slot. I do have a roof basket Rhino Rack XL, but I am trying to get these mounted without using it since the basket really kills gas mileage. Thoughts?

The bolts included in the Thule Xadapt8 adapter # XADAPT8 do fit the T-slot that is in the tops of the AeroBlade bars. The only question that remains is what are you going to thread them into to hold your various accessories?

You might instead consider Rhino-Rack accessory holders # RRRMPHU. They are T-slot mount or will clamp around roof rack crossbars. They are versatile making them a solid option for you. I have linked a video review for you.
