Question:

I would like to know how I would adopt this product for a garage wall fold down bench. Do I still need the single brackets for this unit to rest into?

The CargoSmart Folding Workbench Brackets for E-Track or X-Track, # 3481744 lets you create a fold-out workbench or seat and mounts to X-track and E-track rails. I suggest using something such as the CargoSmart Horizontal or Vertical X-Track, # 3486500 that is 3" long for a single anchor point option. Or something such as the etrailer Horizontal E-Track, # e75VR that is 3' in length allowing you to raise and lower the bench height from being used to sit on to a work bench/table height.
