For a great hitch for your 2022 Volkswagen Atlas, I recommend the Curt Hitch - 2" # C24ER. Apart from providing you with 900 pounds of maximum tongue weight and 9,000 pounds of maximum towing weight, the Curt hitch includes a gloss outer coat over the powder base coat that provides superior rust and corrosion protection. As far as the installation process, the hitch includes an easy installation that only takes about 40 minutes to complete.
As far as the bike rack, I recommend the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # SH22B. In addition to its wheel-mounting attachment style, the Sherpa has a long shank that measures 7-1/2 inches from the center of the pinhole to the closest part of the rack (folded up). This is a great feature because it allows you to safely clear the rear bumper with the Curt hitch installed on your vehicle. Another great feature of the Sherpa is that it comes with locks that protect both your bikes and the rack itself.
