For your 2016 Kia Soul, I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7326. This is the only class III hitch we have for your 2016 Soul. The reason a class III is better, is because the 2" x 2" receiver opening found on class III hitches are the standard size for hitch mounted accessories. This hitch has a 2,000 lbs weight capacity as well as a maximum tongue weight of 300 lbs.

To finish a towing setup, if you're interested, you'll also need wiring. I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56222. This wiring kit is super easy to install, it simply plugs into your factory wiring harness, no cutting or splicing required.
