Will this class 1 hitch support a three wheel scooter

In all likelihood, no, trailer hitch # 24915 for the 2016 Kia Soul will not support a 3-wheeled scooter. The hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. The combined weight of the scooter and the carrier it is on would have to be less than 200 pounds.

The lightest Class I compatible cargo carrier we have that would also work best for a scooter is # C18110 at 30 pounds. That means as long as the scooter weighs less than 170 pounds you would be within the 200 pound capacity.

Otherwise you would either need a different tow vehicle or you would need to put the scooter on a small trailer. There are companies out there that make some specifically for mobility scooters.
