How Many Tire Chains To Use on 2021 Ram 2500 with 35x12.5-17 Tires
Published 12/15/2021 >
Question:
Hi, I have 2021 RAM 2500 HEMI with offroad 4x4 edition. It has 35x12.5R17 BFG KO2 Tires, 2.5inch lifted in the front. It carries a fourwheel truck camper weighted about 1,100 lb dry, 1,600lb wet. If it fits, do I need to have 2 sets to put on all 4 tires? thanks.

I checked the owner's manual for a 2020 Ram 2500 and it states to only use tire chains on the rear axle so that is what I must recommend. The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC2539 are a confirmed fit for 35x12.5-17 tires and are a great option. They have color coded sections for easy install and square links for great traction on both snow and ice.
Please note, the vehicle manufacturer only recommends tire chains on factory tire sizes so you'll need to be determine clearance yourself before use.
