where on earth is the location to grease this? I cant find on either the truck or trailer side?

There isn't a grease fitting on the Lock n Roll setups like the part # 336VS501 that you referenced. Greasing it would require manual application in the moving parts.
The LMX grease like the part # L11390 is the toughest and most waterproof so that is what I would recommend.

There are needle zirks on both sides of the locknroll hitch and they do need regular maintenance. Some people change out the needle zirks to regular ones to make it easier to grease the bearings. sometimes the zirks are painted over a bit and you need to clean the the needle hole of the paint if present. Needle adapters are available at Harbor Freight and Amazon.
