Question:

I need to get a hitch installed on my 2022 BMW X3 M40i so I can carry a bike rack. I am looking at getting the Hollywood Racks Destination four bike carrier, but wont be using it all the time and prefer something hidden. What do you recommend?

To get the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # HR4000 on your 2022 BMW X3 M40i, I recommend going with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH46FR. When not is use, the receiver tube can actually be completely detached so it will be completely invisible when not in use, which is very nice. This does not mean it is a slouch when it comes to carrying capacity, however. This has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 600 pounds and will handle the Hollywood Racks # HR4000 with ease. Though a bit on the pricy side, this is a great option.

The only potential "downside" is that you cannot tow with the specific receiver tube attachment. That does not mean you cannot tow with the hitch, but you will need to add the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring # 391CONVD5 to get the hitch set up to tow with. If you do not plan on towing at all, you will not need this though.
