Question:

After removing and testing my 5th Wheel right side electric slide out motor and having to replace it. It moves but makes a horrible noise! with that said, my motor is a venture believe actually Lippert model LCI PN 168956. The only other part number on it would be the Venture SN # 10510970. Can you tell me using these 2 numbers which replacement motor I need to purchase? I also will need to replace the aft Gear Pack as well. Measuring it at 3.5inch wide. Also if you have any videos on replacing said items I would be very interested in viewing them. Thanks

To replace your 168956 slide out motor you'll need the Replacement 18:1 High Speed Motor Assembly for Lippert Components Venture Actuator and Slide-Out # LC295380.

The gear pack will depend on the dimensions of the inner arms; if your inner arms measure 2" x 2" then you'll need the Lippert 2 X 2 Slide-Out Gear Pack Without Roll Pins Assembly # LC281331.

If they measure 2.5" x 2.5" then you'll need the Lippert Components 2.5 x 2.5 Heavy Duty RV Slide-Out Gear Pack - Steel Rollers # LC123356.

I can also look this up for you if you reply back with the frame number. This number will be located on the frame of your Keystone Arcadia near the pin box. It should be on a white tag and say "LCI Item Number XXXXXXXX"

Unfortunately we do not have any installation videos for slide-out motors at this time.
