Question:

Hi we have a grand Design 312 bhts and I’m interested to know what stabilization solutions you would suggest. We travel seasonal 5-6 months with our 3 kids and it can feel like we’re on a boat. It’s more for the rocking than leveling. I bring jacks that I put under the frame but I’m hoping for an attached system. I definitely enter your monthly contest but until I win that one what would you suggest. Thanks

For your Grand Design Reflection 312BHTS I recommend the Ultra-Fab Slide-Out Supports # UF19-960002. Since your Reflection has the 2 opposing slides that carry the weight of most the kitchen and the seating areas the trailer is virtually teetering on itself with the weight hanging over the sides of the trailer. These supports will allow you to stabilize that additional weight where it matters at the edge of the slide rather than at the frame which is inside the wheel footprint. Be sure to order one kit for each slide as you want 2 supports per slide.

While the slide out supports will significantly improve the left to right roll that you feel some Super Grip Chock Wheel Stabilizers # UF21-001091 will stop the slight front to back rock that traditional wheel chocks are unable to stop. They do this by wedging the tires apart preventing any front or rear movement. They are also lockable to help act as a theft deterrent since it is hard to drive with the wheels locked up.
