Question:

I have a 36ft jayco travel trailer. Wanting your advise on how to stabilize the camper. It has stabilizing jacks not leveling jacks. If someone rolls over in bed everyone feels it.

In order to further stabilize your Jayco travel trailer, I recommend additional jacks and wheel chocks. The best way to minimize swaying and rocking would be to have a total of four stabilizer jacks, one for each corner of the trailer. If you do not already have four stabilizer jacks you can use part # UF48-979031 for the front or rear depending on where the jacks you have are located. Once you have jacks on all four corners you add further support using the Super Grip Chock Wheel Stabilizers part # UF21-001091.

The combination of four jacks and a pair of wheel stabilizers should give you the support you are looking for. If you already have four stabilizer jacks then you can always add more. There are not many other options aside for this. I have attached a review video of the wheel stabilizers to give you better idea of how they work.

I have the same issue for a Surveyor 245BHS. I have the four standard scissor stabilizers in each corner and I have the X chocks. The chocks are ratcheted down to the point the nut won't move and the stabilizers are on 4x6 wood blocks so they aren't extended far. The trailer is level and if someone rolls over in any of the beds, everyone feels it. You said you can add more stabilizers. Where would you place them? And would these just be jack stands? Would the JT Strong Arm stabilizers work better?

When you lower your stabilizer jacks do you lower them so that they are just barely touching the blocks or do you put a little pressure on them? Stabilizer jacks aren't designed to lift a trailer, but you should make sure they they are definitely "tight" when you have them extended. As far as adding more jacks goes you will just need to find a solid place on your trailer frame and make sure that the stabilizer won't interfere with anything on your trailer.
