Recommended Lube Plate for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

Hi there. I just bought this hitch from you, and wrote an excellent review :- Curious, Is there a skid plate/friction pad type attachment for my 5th wheel KING PIN? Whats the benefit to function and towing? Seems like i remember this accessory being mentioned.... Thanks very much

We're glad you're happy with your B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch. You made a great choice!

B&W recommends a 10 inch lube plate. I'd go with # RP83002 which would prevent the skid plate of your hitch from getting all scratched up, and would eliminate the need to grease the skid plate which typically gets grease all over the place.
