Question:

2022 Silverado 3500 long bed with puck system. I want to use the 25K Companion because it's so easy to move around, but that part does make me a little nervous since my spouse and I will be at campsites for weeks at a time. Is there any way to lock the Companion to my truck so I can get better sleep at night?

Of course! You can actually lock the B&W Companion # BWRVK3715 to the OEM puck system on your 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500 using a padlock that has a shackle diameter of 5/16", a height of 3", and a width of 2-1/4". Once you have the 5th wheel in place in the pucks you will use the padlock to secure the levers for the legs as opposed to the pin and clips that come with the hitch.

Another measure of security that you guys can take is adding a tonneau cover to your truck. If you get a hard tonneau cover then that means whenever your cover is shut and the tailgate is locked someone will literally have to break in to get at anything in your truck bed (which means you gain some storage too).
