Recommended 5th Wheel hitch for a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 w/ the Factory Puck System

Next week I am picking up a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 Crew Cab SRW standard bed truck. It has the fifth wheel hitch prep package. I want to get a BandW Companion When I enter my truck information your website page states 8ft bed. I don’t have an 8’ bed. My standard bed is 6’-9”. I didn’t realize that it made a difference for the hitch however, I see no place to enter my bed length information.

Congrats on the new truck! Since you have the standard 6-3/4' bed you're going to need to get a sliding hitch for turning clearance. The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider item # BWRVK3775 is specifically designed to mount in the puck system of your 2024 Sierra 3500.
The Companion Slider item # BWRVK3775 has a 20,000 lbs capacity and will give you 12" of travel for making turns and backing.

Jerred, I went from a GMC 2500 standard bed to a 3500 standard bed. I had a turnover ball under mount with B&W Companion non-slider hitch. I tow a Grand Design Reflection 150 and didn’t have any cab clearance problems so being that all dimensions are the same on the 3500 I shouldn’t have any problems with a non-slider. Hank
