Question:

I have a stock 2021 Ford F-350. I want to purchase a BandW Tow and Stow 3 ball hitch. Trying to decide if I should get the 5 in or the 7 in . Do you have a guide that shows which one would be better for my truck? Thanks

For the 3 inch hitch of your 2021 Ford F-350 to determine if you need the 4-1/2 inch drop Tow and Stow part # BWTS30048B or the 7-1/2 inch drop part # BWTS30049B will be based largely on the trailers you plan to tow and how tall the coupler sits from the ground when level. The exact way to determine this would be to measure from the top of your hitch opening down to the ground compared to the distance from the bottom of the coupler lip to the ground when trailer is sitting level. If that distance is less than 4-1/2 inches then the smaller drop ball mount would be what you'd need and if more than you'd need the other.

So the broader answer would be if you plan to tow medium or heavier duty trailers exclusively the smaller drop would be fine but if you plan to tow smaller trailers that normally sit lower then you'd want to go with the larger drop option.
