Can A Parallel Kit Be Used To Get 50 Amp Service Out Of A Honda EU7000iS Inverter Generator

Question:

I have a Honda 7000 inverter generator and it only has a 30 amp outlet. My trailer has 2 ac’s and I cannot run both of them without tripping the breaker on generator. I believe the generator should be plenty enough to run but it needs a 50 amp outlet. Could I use a parallel kit and use it with a single generator to get 50 amp service?

The wattage of 50-amp service is: 50A x 120V x 2 = 12,000 watts so you would need to parallel another inverter generator rated for at least 5,000 watts to your Honda EU7000iS inverter generator to have a sufficient amount of power to run both AC's and any other equipment you have running in your RV. To parallel the units you could use the Parallel Power Kit for etrailer Inverter Generators - 120 Volt - 50 Amp # 333-0007.
