Question:
Im considering purchasing a pair of Firman 3300 generators with remote start for use in parallel with my 50AMP RV. My question is, if I have the two generators hooked up to parallel to plug in the 50 AMP, will the generators continue to provide some power if one of the generator is shut off? For instance if one runs out of fuel in the middle of the night will the other keep providing some power or would I need to go outside, unhook the parallel kit and use a 50 to 30 Amp adapter to plug into the one that is still running?

Expert Reply:
A 50 amp plug like what the parallel kit part # 333-0007 with two of the Firman Generators # FIR54FR puts out 25 amps per leg of the 50 amp connector. So if you lost one of the generators it would basically put out 25 amps.
