What Trailer Hitch for a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 Fits Long Bed Models
Published 11/04/2021 >
Question:
I am trying to find a hitch setup for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. It’s a 1500 long bed. I seen hitches that said they were for the 1500 on your website, but no bed size specified with those? Can you help me find the right hitch to purchase please?

The bed size does not matter for a frame mounted trailer hitch on a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, they will all work with both short and long bed models. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98849 is what I recommend as a pretty basic, no drill trailer hitch. It is rated for 6,000 lbs which isn't the highest for this vehicle but will be plenty for most trailers for this vehicle so there is no need to pay more for a higher rated one.
