Could Nylon Trailer Bushing part # TRBU13871 be Cut Down to Shorter Length

Question:
Can this bushing be cut for a 2 1/2” slipper spring eye? Also would this be okay on a 10k axle setup or would the metal bushing be better? Thanks

There's no reason you couldn't cut the bushing part # TRBU13871 down to a shorter length. This also would work fine on a 10k axle setup. These don't have weight ratings so it would work fine for a 10k setup.
