Question:

We are about to get a 2022 Honda Odyssey and I've been driving an SUV....Kids. My concern is the rural area we live in and dragging the trailer hitch on rough roads. We need a hitch for our bike rack....kids. What hitch has the most ground clearance? Every little bit will possibly help.

For your 2022 Honda Odyssey, the hitch with best ground clearance will be the Draw-Tite # 76170. This will provide about 12 inches of ground clearance under the receiver tube and since the crossbar is tucked up behind the bumper/fascia it is barely visible. Take a look at the attached image. If you get into something deep enough to drag the trailer hitch, it is probably better to do that than dragging the rear facia and damaging the body panel of your new Honda. This adds to the installation difficulty but really helps provide additional ground clearance.

If you still have concerns, I suggest you consider the # UF48-979020. This roller installs around the receive tube and is held in place by a standard hitch pin such as the, # PC3. The roller will take the brunt of the impact, and will roll rather than drag and scrape to protect your hitch.
