Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2022 Toyota 4Runner Towing 3,500lb Camper
Published 10/08/2021 >
Question:
I am going to be towing a 3500lb camper trailer with my 2022 4runner but am worried that the rear suspensions might sag too much. What would you recommend adding to prevent some sagging while not killing the ride quality when I am not towing?

For your 2022 Toyota 4Runner I recommend going with the Sumo Springs Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS78DR.
This option adds 1,800lbs of load leveling support to the rear suspension of your 4Runner and will be more than enough for your 3,500lb camper as your vehicle is only going to be carrying the tongue weight of the trailer which should be in the 350 - 500lb range.
I really like the Sumo Springs due to them being made out of a softer rubber so that when you are not towing your ride quality will not be affected.
I included a video of the # SS78DR for you to take a look at.
