Hi, I want to make sure my RTT ladder will hook on the bolts before I purchase this item. Can you tell me the size of the bolt? Also thick or what gauge is the metal? Thanks

Expert Reply:

The Replacement Mounting Brackets # RR43217 for the Rhino-Rack Folding Ladder # RRRAFL have a pin diameter of 11/32". This is the pin that the ladder will slide onto. I have also included measurements for the bracket in a image below. The bracket is 1/8" thick.

The width of the bracket at the pin is 1-3/8" and it is 1-9/16" deep from the center of the pin to the back of the opening. The mounting holes are going to be 4" or 4-3/8" from the center of the ladder pin to the center of the mounting hole.
