Can I use your quick splices with the W002230 to my trailer lights. If so, what size item # should I use?

Yes. There's no reason you can't use something like the Quick Splices - Self-Stripping Connector - Closed Port - 14-16-18 Gauge - Blue - Qty 1 # SWC502905-1 to install the # W002230 on your trailer. The # W002230 uses 18 gauge wiring, so the # SWC502905-1 would be the recommended quick splices assuming that your trailer also uses 14, 16 or 18 gauge wiring.

Typically 4-way wiring consists of 18 and 16 gauge wires. For a 4-way that has all 16 gauge wire you would want the Wesbar 4-Pole Flat Connector #W787264. The part #HM38138 uses 18 gauge for all wires but the white that uses 16 gauge.
