Why does the draw-tite trailer hitch require my bumper beam to be removed on my 2021 Jaguar F-Pace?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76026 is designed to take the place of your bumper beam and allows you to have a slightly easier installation. You will not be sacrificing any support or safety as the hitch is designed to work as your bumper beam.
If you are uncomfortable with using the hitch as your bumper beam, we do have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13291. This hitch provides the same 900 lb. tongue weight and 6,000 lb. gross trailer weight as the Draw-Tite and both are 2" class-III hitches. But the Curt would not require you to permanently remove your bumper beam.
