Question:
I have a 2020 Ford Expedition with HD tow package. Flat trailer Diamond 20foot 2350# empty weight, 2inch ball required. 7K rating. Also 24foot enclosed car hauler. 2 5/16inch ball. Looking at Curt C17500 to purchase, but would also like a 2inch ball along with it. Part # 63018?

With your trailer having a 7,000 pound rating, the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 # C17500 may not be the best option for you. Typically the tongue weight of a trailer will be 10% of its gross weight and with the # C17500 having a minimum tongue weight capacity of 800 pounds, it will end up being too heavy of a system.
With that being said, the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10K GTW, 1K TW # RP66559 will be a better option. This will have a tongue weight range of 500 pounds at the minimum and 1,000 pounds at the maximum. This system will suit your weight capacities much better.
The downside to this system is that it does not include any hitch balls, so you will need to get the 2-5/16" Ball # C40030 and 2" Ball # 63018 separately.
