Question:
Hello! I am looking for some help choosing a weight distribution hitch. I will be hauling a 34ft trailer with about 6700 full weight with my 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500.

A fully loaded trailer weighing 6700 lbs would have a tongue weight that ranges between 600-1000 lbs, so you'd want to choose a system that's rated to cover that possible range.
A typical chain-suspended unit like the Curt # C17057 MV weight distribution system would work fine for a utility trailer that's non enclosed, but if it's an enclosed cargo trailer or a travel trailer, you'll really want to do yourself a favor and choose a system with an integrated sway control component. Long trailers with tall sides are more susceptible to trailer sway caused by crosswinds and passing traffic, so weight distribution with sway control would be highly recommended if that's your situation.
If you've got a open trailer, the # C17057 system you mentioned is rated for 1000-1400 lbs of tongue weight, and would be rated too highly to be effective for your trailer. Take a look at the linked article that explains how to determine the tongue weight of your loaded trailer.
If you find the tongue weight to be between 800-1000 lbs, I'd recommend the # C17052 or if it's between 600-800, go with the # C17051. These would be a good choice for an open utility or flat bed trailer. For a hitch ball (which isn't included) use # A-90 for a 2 inch ball or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 ball.
For an enclosed trailer or a travel trailer with a loaded tongue weight between 800-100 lbs, I'd recommend the Curt TruTrack, part # C17500 or if the tongue weight is between 500-800 lbs, use # C17499. The TruTrack offers proven weight distribution performance and very effective trailer sway control. Like the systems above, the trailer ball isn't included and the trailer balls mentioned above would also work with either of these systems.
