How to Determine if HitchMate Receiver Mount TruckStep Will Fit 2020 Ford Expedition Max Platinum

Will item HE4045 fit my 2020 Ford Expedition Max Platinum? There is a bumper around the 2inch hitch. I am not sure if there is clearance for the support beam for the step. Thanks!

The HitchMate TruckStep Extendable, Hitch Mounted Step, # HE4045 fits most vehicles but you will want to take some measurements to be certain it fits your 2020 Ford Expedition Max Platinum. First measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the where the end of our telescoping rail will set. This will be about 19-1/2", see the attached image and note the linked product video. Where the hitchstep mounts to the receiver, there is a 1-5/8" gap.
Please note other options such as the Extendable Hitch Mounted Step for 2" Hitches, # 288-08400 and the HitchMate TruckStep XL, # HE4037.
