Question:
Can this be used to replace a Kencon Slam Latch on a 2018 Thor Windsport?

Expert Reply:
Without knowing more information about your current Kencon it would be hard to tell you if the Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch # 295-000078 is a direct replacement for the Kencon. You could use this lock on your Thor Windsport as long as your door is at least 1-3/4" thick. You will need the Global Link Mounting Plate for Baggage Door Slam Latch # 295-000016. The key for this slam latch is Key for Global Link RV Standard Baggage Door Locks # 295-000079.
If your dimensions don't work for this lock, please reach back out to me with the dimensions of your lock opening or the model of your Kencon and I would be happy to help get you the correct sized replacement.
