Question:

Hi the above is constantly flashing. We have disconnected and cleaned the connections. The wires appeared to be OK. is it OK to continue to drive the vehicle Thank you

The SH code on the Prodigy Brake Controller, # 90885, indicates that while idle, the brake controller is sensing a short in the brake wire. It is okay to keep driving but before you tow your trailer I'd recommend go over trailer wiring of your vehicle to see if you can find the short and fix as needed. Sometimes it's as simple as corrosion on the backside of the connector or sometimes it's cut or exposed wire that needs to be insulated.
