Question:

Looking for hub replacement for Lippert part #2420801, 12inch x 2inch electric brakes, grease hub, 5/8 studs, 8 x 6.5, 8,000 lb. hybrid axle. I believe bearings are 25580 inner and 02475 or 14125A outer, can read them any more.

An 8K hub would use a drum with an inside diameter of 12-1/4 and an inside depth of 3-3/8 inches.

If that's the inside dimensions of the drum you have, the Dexter 8K # 8-285-10UC3-A would be the correct replacement. The hub uses a 25580 inner/02475 outer bearing an an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern with 5/8 inch wheel studs.

The hub is billed as a oil bath hub, but it will work perfectly with either grease or oil, so it'll work great as a replacement for your LCI 2420801 hubs.

No.. you are wrong. Justin W is correct. His Lippert #2420801 drum is 12 inch and takes the normal 12 x 2 inch brakes but it has a threaded cap and not pound in cap like the normal 7000 lb axle uses. His outer bearing is a 02475 with the 02420 race. I have the exact same drum on my trailer. It measures the same as a 7000 lb axle drum but takes the #02475 outer bearing making it a 8000 lb axle.
