Question:
Which model of replacement motor do I need for my retractable steps?

Expert Reply:
Unless your steps have been updated or changed out on your 1999 Fleetwood Southwind you should have the Kwikee series 32 steps. You can check your steps for any tags that may still be present on the steps, motor or gearbox.
The Replacement Motor with Mounting Plate for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379608 is the correct replacement for the original steps. The original motor will have a similar shape and bolt pattern but the wiring connector will be different.
If you find that the motor does not match what you have or different steps please let me know what you have and I will help you find the correct replacement motor.
