Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Load: 1,000-lb Rear Suspension Support

When the bed’s full or a trailer’s hooked up, sag and sway can make things feel loose. The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit adds up to 1,000 lbs of extra support above your factory leaf springs. It lifts the rear when loaded and helps prevent bottoming out, keeping your truck level so steering, braking, and headlight aim stay right where they should.

Smooth Out the Drive: Automatic Load Response

These helper springs adjust automatically to your payload - no tubing, air pressure, or manual tuning needed. As your factory springs flex under weight, rollers on each end of the SuperSprings engage to add support. When unloaded, the rollers disengage so the ride stays close to stock. It’s a maintenance-free setup that works when you need it and stays quiet when you don’t.

Cut Down on Sway and Roll: Up to 30 Percent More Stability

Wind gusts, passing semis, and tight corners can all throw a truck off balance when it’s loaded. Mounted above your factory leaf springs, these helpers act like sway bars to reduce body roll by up to 30 percent. They stabilize your suspension so the vehicle feels planted through crosswinds and turns, making towing or hauling less stressful and more controlled.

Set It Up Your Way: Adjustable Installation Options

The included shackles let you choose how much support you want. Use the upper bolt holes for maximum load support and ride height under constant heavy weight, the lower holes to maintain factory ride feel, or mix them for balanced comfort and lift. The helper springs install in a bolt-on configuration above your factory leaf springs, but the required mounting hardware kit MTKT is sold separately. That lets you complete the setup with the correct hardware for your application.

Built to Keep Working: Durable Helper Spring Design

The dense polyurethane pads prevent shifting on models where factory springs sit above the axle, while heavy-duty leaf construction reinforces your rear suspension for the long haul. With no air leaks to worry about and no maintenance required, these helper springs extend the life of your brakes, tires, and factory suspension - all while delivering reliable load stability every time you hitch up or haul heavy gear.

Video Transcript for All About the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the SuperSprings lines of custom suspension stabilizer and sway control kits. You'll want to use etrailer's fit guide to determine the correct kit for your vehicle. Here's what our SuperSprings are going to look like once we have them installed. Now these are going to give us the support we need whenever we're hauling a heavy load or towing a heavy trailer. Typically, whenever we're hauling something extremely heavy our suspension wants to flex a lot and our back end sags down. Well these are going to provide us the extra support by activating whenever our suspension flexes, the rollers on the end of our leaf spring are going to activate our helper spring and provide us that extra support.

But also still giving us a nice ride when we're not towing something heavy, because it's going to deactivate those springs and still have a nice comfortable ride. And since they are attached to the front and back of our factory leaf springs, it's also going to act like a sway bar and it's going to prevent our leaf springs from twisting. Giving us a lot more stability when we're driving down the road. The multiple notches in the end here are going to provide us with a little bit of customization, depending on how much support we need. If we need more or if we just have a little bit of spring fatigue in our truck, it'll give us that little bit of lift so whenever we're towing something we don't have quite as much sag.We have a water tank in the bed of our truck as a heavy load or to simulate the tongue weight of a heavy trailer or a fifth wheel. So as I take the truck through my test course, I can definitely tell that there's a load back there.

The engine doesn't seem to be straining that much, but the bumps are extremely harsh and I can definitely feel it resonating through the seat. When I come to the slalom course and I'm going through the turns it definitely has a lot of body roll and I just generally feel like I need to slow down because it feels like it's leaning a lot and it's not responding quickly enough to the turns. The SuperSprings installed and I have the same load back there. When I'm driving through our course I can immediately tell a difference. The bumps aren't as harsh because the truck isn't sagging down as much and there's a little bit more support back there. But really where I tell a big difference is through the slalom course.

It definitely feels way more stable and even taking the turns going in and out, it just feels like it really wants to stick to the ground a lot better and just generally wants to go faster.Compared to airbags, these are a maintenance free option with no tubes to run or air pressure to maintain. Similar to airbags you can customize the level of support provided. Unlike airbags however you do this during the installation and set it one time rather than on the fly adjustability you get with airbags. And that completes our look at the SuperSprings line of custom suspension stabilizer and sway control kits.

Product worked as described. Shipping was quick (etrailer used "air" to my state, then on UPS truck)
Easy to install, not sure why they included 2 sets of polyurethane blocks (only one set fit my truck)
Don't notice any ride difference when set at lowest setting. Raised truck approximately 3/4". East to readjust for more preload if needed.
Combined these Super Springs with Timbren load handlers. So far so good.
Great improvement over stock while maintaining ride quality.

2013 Toyota Tundra 4x4. Installation went well in my garage with a medium sized C-Clamp. The ride feels that same as stock. Lifted the rear 1.5" which helped off set the 2.5" lift in the front from Fox 2.0 shocks. I have not hauled a load yet.

Installing these on a 2020 F250 was easier than I thought it would be. I was able to get the springs on whit the center piece and the front shackle bolted without jacking up the truck. I had to jack the frame up a few inches on each side to get the back shackle bolt through. I put the shackle bolts through the bottom holes since I only need the extra support when I tow. I recommend air / power tools for the shackle nuts and it doesn’t hurt using them for the center bracket u bolts. They are lock nuts and they have a long way to run on for each bolt. I did have to bend my parking brake cable hangar out a bit for one of the shackle bolts to clear the cable. The truck seems to sit a little higher in the back. Maybe an inch or so. The ride empty seemed the same except it felt like it didn’t roll quite as much when turning. Rolling over a lip at the end of our driveway the extra stiffness was noticeable, however. I won’t know how well they really work until I get my fifth wheel hooked up.

by:

Couldn’t install on my Class C due to the placement of a propane line from the manufacturer. I was very pleased with the weight and solid construction.

by:

This was by far the easiest mod I have made to my 2019 Ford Super Duty King Ranch! Only took 45 minutes start to finish. Didn't even take the wheels off. Took some pressure off of the springs by lifting the rear end a little using the trailer hitch. Used the bottom holes on both ends and only raised the rear of the body 1 inch. Great product!

by:

Easy to install and they definately keep my pick up from squatting as much with our trailer hooked up.

by:

You should inform customers about special tools needed to preform install. Not on easy install as stated in video

by:

I installed the springs in a little over an hour but have yet to put our 15,500 lb 5th wheel RV on the truck. The pin weight is around 2,800 lbs when she is fully loaded, so we will see if these help us with the sway and porposing, also the side weight when starting into a curve.

by:

No issues with install on a 2023, E350 Class C motorhome.
After chalking the front wheels, I used two 3 ton floor jacks with 13” 6x6 blocks just behind the springs to lift the frame and rear tires off the ground to remove the wheels. For safety, 3 ton jack stands were put under the axles during spring installation
After installing the springs per manufacturer instructions, two 1/2” x 10” pieces of all thread with drilled flat bar were used to compress the front end spring.
With the least amount of preload it raised the back a good inch.
The 800# trailer tongue weight will be the next test to see if more preload is needed for a level ride height.

These leaf springs works great !! More stable my van but I would like that it brings up an inch !!! Great buy

by:

Installed on a 2016 Toyota Tundra. I pull a 28 foot aluminum frame utility trailer. Hauls like a 3/4 ton with super spring. Rides like 1/2 ton without load. I have put 1 ton load on truck with no trailer and the truck drove fine. The front of truck at tires rose 1/2 inch. Installation requires the frame to be lifted off the axel.at rear of vehicle. I like this system better than air shocks as there is no adjustment after installation. I would purchase again.

by:

I have the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches on my 2025 Airstream Interstate. They were causing the van to sag. The Springs went on Fairley easy and provided the lift I needed.

by:

I bought these as part of my suspension modifications . I had them installed on my Ford F350 SB . I have an Arctic Fox 865 truck camper. It’s a heavy camper so to minimize sag and sway I installed Timbren bump stops, a hellwig bigwig sway bar,Torque lift stable loads. That improved things quite a bit. I installed these super springs last ,they further improved sway and improved the overall stability and ride quality.
I definitely feel these were worth purchasing. I could not decompress the existing leaf springs enough to install these myself so had them professionally installed.
I would recommend them for hauling a truck camper.

by:

Added these to my Mercedes air stream 19x class b van that already has 2 leaf springs. Had swaying issues at 60MPH and up. These put a stop to it right away and kept from sagging in the rear when loaded up with all our gear and water tank full. I have them on the mid setting. My van is 4wd and already lifted so didn’t raise it more than 1/2in. Still has a smooth ride and no big jolts like air bags or sumo springs.
I bought these a year ago so not sure if anything has changed Bad thing is they are slightly too long, Just enough to touch the wheel well and rub the under coating off. If you’re going to install yourself, I found a good you tube install. The U-bolts for install are too short. Need 2 forged C-clamps.
These are a 100% buy, don’t mess with air bags or sumos. These adjust themselves with load or no load.

by:

Without towing, the truck seems to ride a little smoother. The real test will come when I hook up my fifth wheel. Very simple to install.

by:

This product did exactly what I needed. Lift the RV up to unloaded height. I have not exceeded the 12500 GCWR but the rear end was dragging like it was severely overloaded. It was a very tight fit because the mud flap framing and gas lines were almost in the way. An entire day later with a couple of clamps and sore wrists at max setting fixed the sag perfectly! I wish I had before and after pictures. I can almost fit my head in the wheel where I could not get my arm in before.

by:

Fast delivery, free shipping, the springs went on pretty easy, had some problems with install due to my vehicles configuration, Travato59K,not the springs. This was a 2024 RAM Promaster3500, raised it up 1.75” on the lower setting. Noticeable help with sway problem.

by:

The shackles on each end were too narrow to clear the spring clips so locating them was harder than need be. The instructions had a mistake, locating the front shackle incorrectly. Installed as they are. Improved ride a lot. Glad I got them.

by:

While use the middle setting it only gave it a slight lift with a minimal unloaded bounce. Usually never overload the trucks maximum capacity but needed to for a short distance and with approximately 1300 pounds in the bed, the truck didn't squat at all.

by:

This was a great addition to the suspension of my 2021 Ford E350 Class C RV. The rear springs were at almost max load. This raised the chassis at the rear axle almost 2-inches. This is a heavy duty spring and I had to fabricate a tool to compress the spring.

Fast shipping friendly Service and have every thing I needed will buy again

by:

You need to sell complete kit. This installation require P12KT mounting kit

by:

I saw these years ago in a brochure, but now that I need suspension help, it is great to be able to add this kit to my pickup. They helped stiffen the tired factory springs, and the improvement in handling is amazing. My trailer pulling is less stressful when the pickup handles better, especially on cornering.

  • Best Suspension Enhancement for 2020 Ford F-150
Hey Victor, the suspension enhancement kit I would recommend for your 2020 Ford F-150 is actually the Roadactive kit part # RAS3611-YHD. This is by far the best suspension improvement you can make as you get the additional support you are looking for to prevent sagging, it won't make any noise, it's easy to install and adjust, and unlike all other options it improves ride quality and handling loaded and unloaded. SumoSprings are also solid but they would affect the ride quality a bit more...

  • Will the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer Work w/a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4?
No, it will not Jim but I have a kit that will. It's the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit item # SSA28. I checked with SuperSprings and this kit will fit the AT4 models of the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. They only have a 1,500 lbs capacity so you may want to use the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit item # RAS54FR. The RAS item # RAS54FR has a much higher capacity at 3,000 lbs that has quite the range of adjustability. When you're not hauling...

  • Suspension Enhancement Kit that Fits 2005 Chevy Suburban 2500
Yes, the SuperSprings kit part # SSA5 is a pair of springs and it comes with all mounting hardware needed to install it. However this kit does not fit your 2005 Chevy Suburban but we do have a similar setup that does with the Roadactive kit part # RAS4611. This would have been my first choice for you even if there was a SumoSpring that fit since this kit provides best support and improves handling and ride quality unlike all other options.

  • SuperSprings Kit Recommendation for 2011 GMC Sierra 1500
For your 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 the SuperSprings Stabilizers part # SSA5 would fit and work well. These will provide an additional 950 lbs of vertical support which will work great with your trailer that has a tongue weight of less than 900 lbs. You really don't want to go overkill with how much support the supplemental suspension kit provides as it can make the ride very harsh.

  • Super Springs Vehicle Suspension with Installation Kit for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 4 x 4
For the SuperSprings Vehicle Suspension with the installation kit you will want # SSA5MTKT. This will include the mounting kit needed to install these on your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The # SSA5 includes only the SuperSpring Suspension.
