Question:
Looking for some help I have a 2009 pilot. The issue I am having is with the trailer lights. The running lights work but the brake lights and turn signals dont. I have googled and checked all fuses and wiring that was recommended. I found no bad fuses out of the 4 fuse boxes through out the pilot and I even pulled the harness at the back and bench tested that section of pigtail. I know for sure it is the pilot and not the trailer or adapter I am using since I tried a second adapter and I had a friend hook his f150 to the trailer and test the lights as well as tried both adapters on his truck to the trailer and all lights worked as they should To ass to this I purchased a new relay for the aux fuse box. This didnt change anything. I also hooked my wifes Toyota Sequoia to the trailer lights and the worked with and without the 7 pin adapter Both of times I hooked the light to other vehicals I did not actually hook the trailer to the vehical. Just a fyi

You did quite a bit of troubleshooting and homework on this so I commend you for that! Since it's not the relays, the fuses, or the trailer wiring that basically leaves the converter box of the wiring kit. Which you can test that with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 by checking for voltage when the turn signals are on going into the box and then check to see if they are making it to the output side.
If there's none making it to output side the box is bad and would need to be replaced like with the part # C56365.
