Question:

My Volvo was built with the hidden Volvo trailer hitch. Unfortunately the hitch they provided is not the one they advertised they were going to attach. Their hitch only has a permanent 2inch ball and cannot accept a bike rack so I have requested Volvo remove it from my car. My question is will the little compartment in which the hitch is hiddeninch have and impact on the installation of your hitch? Thank you for your help.

The # SH67FR Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver installs behind your 2021 Volvo V90 bumper beam. As long as Volvo removes the current hitch, including any additional welded on parts, you will be able to install the Stealth Hitch without any issues. Some additional cutting of the bumper fascia will still be required for the installation, even with the large opening you already have for the factory hitch.

Keep in mind that this hitch has a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs and is for hitch-mounted accessories only. If you decide you want to do some towing, you will need to add the # SH36FR Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring. There is also an option to buy them together, which is the # SH67FRT.
