I have a 99 F-350 that I put a 2012 box on restoring the rusted out original box. it is a 6.5foot bed, I want to put the new puck style mounts in I believe I need the reese 30126. Adapter piece I was looking at was the reese 30156, and the hitch I want is the reese 30084 20 k sq tube slider. My boy wants to also put the rails in his truck, he has an 03 F-250 6.5foot box also, he was thinking of the reese 30073 rails for his, will these work for our applications

I do have a Reese under-bed fifth wheel install kit that will fit your 1999 Ford F-350, however, the Reese under-bed kit # RP30126 is only designed to fit 2011 - 2013 F-250s and F-350s. The correct Reese under-bed fifth wheel installation kit to fit your truck is # RP30073. Even though you have a 2012 bed, you still have a 1999 frame and Ford has had 2 frame redesigns, one in 2005 and the other in 2011.
The Reese adapter # RP30156 and the Reese 20K fifth wheel hitch # 30084 will both fit your truck with the install kit that I mentioned.
An issue that you may have to address is the mounting measurements. Reese has not tested this install kit on a 1999 Ford F-350 with a 2012 box. I spoke with my contact at Reese about this installation and he suggested that you measure at least 3 times before you start drilling because there could be variations between the 1999 and 2012 box.
With regard to your sons 2003 Ford F-250 6-1/2 ft box, the Reese Under-Bed Rail and Install Kit # RP30073 that I mentioned for your truck is the same fit for his truck. I have attached a video of this installation on a 2005 Ford F-250 for your review.
